GRILL & CONNECT is a “simple” but much needed and powerful initiative in which we serve the kids and others in the community simple meals and snacks. We connect with the kids and the community letting them know we are there and providing them with information on the other resources we provide.
GRILL & CONNECT often leads to many engaging conversations between youth and adults, youth and youth, and adults and adults. These conversations form bonds and connections that are the keys to communities bonding and growing together.
GRILL & CONNECT are executed directly in the neighborhoods of what many might consider “the worst” areas of a city. We find that this is where the need is most undeserved on a real level of connection and trust. Our way of doing things gives us the ability to bond and build with our people in these areas which will lead to powerful pathways for their lives and communities.
